Initial Consultation
At Global Domotech, every project is a unique, fully custom‑designed solution. During our initial consultation, we conduct an in‑depth analysis of your needs and propose solutions precisely tailored to your lifestyle—designed to evolve with you over time.
To help you make the most informed decisions, we invite you to experience and test our solutions in our LAB. Together, we select the products that best align with your budget while meeting your specific technical and aesthetic requirements.
Once we have received your project layout plans, we move on to the next phase: the development of a detailed, personalized proposal.

The Proposal
To begin the quotation process, a preliminary budget assessment is conducted to ensure your project remains aligned with your investment parameters. We also collaborate closely with the project stakeholders to confirm that the proposed products and integrations are fully compatible with the existing infrastructure and consistent with the overall design vision.
You will then receive a detailed, itemized proposal outlining all recommended equipment, associated labour requirements, and programming time—broken down for each room or area of the space to be developed.
This transparent approach allows you to fully understand every aspect of the installation and make informed, confident decisions at every stage of your project.

Design Conception & Technical Plans
Once the proposal has been approved, the Global Domotech team begins the design phase, developing detailed layout plans that integrate all selected systems and equipment.
Networking infrastructure, audio and video distribution, lighting control, surveillance cameras, security and access control, power and climate management, motorized window treatments...
Each device is clearly identified and precisely positioned on the plans, ensuring that every project stakeholder can easily locate and understand the technical information. This meticulous approach guarantees seamless coordination and flawless execution throughout the project.
Why Create Layout Plans?
The Central Reference for Every Stakeholder
Designing a connected and automated home requires a fundamentally different approach than a traditional electrical installation. That’s why we are committed to creating precise, comprehensive plans tailored to the specific requirements of your project. These plans serve as a clear reference for all stakeholders—electricians, architects, carpenters, plumbers, and other trades—allowing everyone involved to fully understand how our systems and equipment integrate seamlessly into the existing space.
A Precise and Thoughtful Analysis
Our connection schematics are developed with meticulous attention to detail. We ensure that every component has the required space, that wiring paths are optimized, and that all parts and connections are fully accounted for. This level of precision ensures a smooth construction process and a seamless, efficient installation—reducing the risk of errors and ensuring flawless execution from start to finish.
The Implementation
Process
Working in close collaboration with all project stakeholders, we coordinate the work of our technicians according to the project schedule to ensure a smooth and efficient system integration. Ongoing communication throughout the installation process is essential, as our technicians are involved at several key stages of construction —ensuring precision, consistency, and seamless execution from start to finish.

Step 1
Electrical Mark‑Up
Our work begins at the very early stages of construction, with the planning of the electrical mark‑up—a critical step that consists of precisely identifying the location of every system component.
This site visit also allows us to present the project to the electrician, validate our installations, and confirm timelines—ensuring seamless coordination and flawless execution from the outset.

Step 2
Wiring – Rough‑In
Before the walls are closed, our technicians complete all wiring related to audio and video distribution, as well as network cabling. They also prepare all recessed mounting supports in anticipation of the next installation phases.

Step 3
Equipment Installation
Once construction is complete, our technicians proceed with the installation of all system equipment.

Step 4
Configuration & Automation
Our programmers then step in to meticulously configure and test each system. We ensure that every aspect of your connected home is precisely tailored to your needs and preferences.
- Network configuration and audio calibration
- Programming of personalized lighting and lifestyle scenes
- Setup of your user profile and system preferences

Step 5
Training & Ongoing Support
We then guide you through the discovery of all available features, ensuring you feel confident and comfortable using your system. You will also receive a comprehensive reference guide, including:
- Detailed plans of your project
- Clear indications of equipment locations
- A complete list of all installed products
- Contact information for our maintenance and support team for any future assistance
Simplicity and efficiency are at the core of our approach
Our team remains available at all times to answer your questions and provide support whenever needed. In the event of an issue—or for system updates—we can securely connect remotely to your installation to deliver fast, efficient assistance directly from our offices. This proactive approach ensures a seamless, worry‑free experience and guarantees the long‑term reliability and performance of your smart home system.

The Mechanical Room
A Dedicated Space
To ensure optimal performance, we recommend the installation of a centralized Audio/Video cabinet that houses all of your home automation equipment within a dedicated server rack. This server acts as the central hub for processing data from all connected systems—cameras, audio, video, lighting, and more—enabling efficient, centralized management of your entire smart home.
Unlike standard residential routers or consumer‑grade enclosures, a professional server rack is designed to handle heavy system loads while delivering long‑term stability and reliability. This infrastructure also minimizes latency, ensuring instantaneous responsiveness whenever you interact with your connected devices—resulting in a smooth, seamless, and dependable smart home experience.
Proper airflow and ventilation are essential and strongly recommended to allow heat generated by electronic equipment to dissipate efficiently, preventing overheating and preserving the performance and longevity of your systems.
Our network infrastructures also include secure remote access. The methodical organization of the A/V rack allows our technicians to perform diagnostics, updates, and system reboots—even when you are miles away from home—ensuring continuous performance and peace of mind.
